A young friend of mine recently found a copy of the RUBIAYAT OF OMAR KHAYYAM in the attic of a very old house that was put up for sale due to the death of the occupant...an elderly lady who had put an owner's label inside the front cover (hard back) in a richly decorated storage cover. He had never heard of Omar Khayyam and wanted to know who he was. It was my pleasure to enlighten him about the man and his poetry. My young friend has very much enjoyed reading and discussing the quatrains and thought he was a very wise man. I wonder if this book has any great monetary value? It was printed in 1937 by the Garden City Publishing Co., Inc., New York. If anyone knows how one might have an apprisal of this book...Please write to Blubelle1@msn.com..............Thanks
